Privacy Policy
How website and assignment information is handled
Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]. This starter policy requires review by a qualified attorney before publication.
This is a structured starting template, not legal advice or a substitute for jurisdiction-specific review.
Information received
We may receive contact information, general service-request details, quote information, billing references, communications, and—only through an approved secure workflow—legal documents. Public forms should not contain highly sensitive personal information.
Use of information
Information may be used to review requests, prepare negotiated quotes, communicate, provide accepted services, maintain records, prevent misuse, comply with law, and respond to privacy or security matters.
Payments
If enabled, payments are processed by Stripe. Rapid Serves Legal does not collect or store card numbers. Payment metadata must exclude confidential matter details, party names, addresses, and document information.
Private documents and malware scanning
Secure uploads are disabled until private storage, access controls, expiring tokens, file validation, quarantine, private malware scanning, retention, deletion, backup, and incident-response procedures are configured and tested. Documents are not sent to public malware-analysis or AI services.
Service providers and staff access
Approved hosting, email, payment, private storage, security, and case-management providers may process limited information under appropriate terms. Authorized staff access should be role-based, logged, and limited to business need.
Retention and deletion
Retention periods for unaccepted requests, unpaid quotes, completed or canceled assignments, documents, payments, and security logs require management and legal approval. Automatic and manual deletion must respect accounting, dispute, preservation, and legal requirements.
Disclosures and incidents
Information may be disclosed when legally required or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, systems, or operations. The final policy must describe the approved security-incident notification process.
Analytics and cookies
Analytics must not receive case numbers, party names, addresses, document names, message contents, or sensitive legal information. Cookie or consent controls will be used when required by the selected technology and applicable law.
Privacy requests
Rights vary by jurisdiction. Contact nick@rapidserveslegal.com regarding access, correction, deletion, restriction, or other privacy questions.
